Montecasino is a major recreational centre in Sandton, Johannesburg. It was named after Montecasino, which is a rocky hill about 130 km south of Rome, Italy, 2 km to the west of the town of Cassino. Montecasino was voted best entertainment complex in South Africa in 2006. The centre was built to resemble an old Italian castle.

Montecasino has a casino which offers over seventeen hundred slot machines and fifty casino table games like Roulette, Mini-Baccarat, Craps, Blackjack and Baccarat. Montecasino boasts with the biggest movie screen in all of Africa named "Il Grande" and also offers a skate park.

Montecasino recently launched a new piazza area consisting of 6 new restaurants, a high-class business hotel and a 1900 seater theater, The Teatro, which is currently the largest theater in South Africa.
