Orchards is a suburb of Sandton situated in Johannesburg, South Africa. This small suburb is located between Norwood and Oaklands and to the west of Louis Botha. Orchards is one of the older suburbs in Johannesburg and has many large old houses. Many of these large houses in Orchards have now been divided into apartments. The suburbs is situated close to the many schools of the near by Sandton suburbs.

Orchards is coveniently close to several golf clubs in Sandton. Among others you will find the Houghton Golf Club to the southwest and the Royal Johannesburg and Kensington Golf Club to east of Orchards. The M1 highway which takes you through the city centre of Johannesburg is just a few blocks away from Orchards.
