Saxonwold is a suburb of Sandton situated in Johannesburg, South Africa. One of Johannesburg's older suburbs, Saxonwold is characterised by large two-story houses similar to those found in the near by suburbs of Parkwood and Houghton Estate. Many properties in Saxonwold, especially in the northeastern parts have been converted to professional offices for attorneys, doctors and and other specialists.

Several primary schools are situated within Saxonwold and is next door to the Johannesburg Zoological Gardens which also houses the National Military History Museum. The Killarney Golf Club and Houghton Golf Club are situated close by towards the east of Saxonwold. The Wanderers Cricket Ground and Golf Club is also just a short drive away.
